The first time this idea came up was in February 2004 while on a road trip in the South Island of New Zealand. It wasn’t long before Sideroom.com was launched at the first of what would become a long line of infamous Sideroom apotekerendk.com.com parties. From that event things grew pretty fast, and looking back it is amazing where it has taken us. We’ve had at least four different incarnations of our website, more crazy parties than I can remember, travelled the world, run an art gallery, published three issues of Sideroom.com Magazine, and even produced 50 episodes of a live to air television show. It has been an adventure.

Along the way, throughout our travels, what has inspired us is the search for creativity, meeting people and communities who create and shape the world around them and finding out what makes them tick.
