Right time, Left place
On September 18th Growroom Gallery opens for business with the exhibition Right time, Left place. Local Artists Matt Wallace, Peepshow and Rodrigo Akaishi come together in a show of photography and a touch of painting. Inspired by the streets and vacant spaces of Auckland, Bolivia and even Antarctica Right time, Left Place'offers a glimpse into the clandestine and obscure.
Growroom Gallery is the latest edition to the Sideroom.com creative community. Nestled in the heart of Newton, on the busy corner of Exmouth and New North Road its just a short walk from our headquarters. The space provides a platform for Artists to exhibit and sell works on a no-commission basis. Growroom is available to rent at a flat fee of $300 per week making it an accessible venue for anyone from experimental to performance artists. Curation, show promotion, and daily manning of the Gallery is in hands of you the exhibitor.
