I’m an illustrator based in Toronto, Canada. My work is a combination of pencil drawings, magazine cut outs, typography and when I get the chance screen-printing. I get my inspiration from vintage magazines. Those saturated colors really turn me on!

My name is Chris Nickels, I’m 18 and from Athens, Georgia. I attempt to juxtapose the organic forms and rigid designs within nature, mainly using Indian ink and watercolor paint. I am very inspired by the outdoors in general, but I have a specific interest in birds.

Screenprinted onto Pine Plywood and box framed on reverse. A special metallic ink has been used in the wattle so it shimmers and glistens. In the branches of the Tawa tree, I hear you call.
