Lucy Han

Lucy Han

Lucy never thought of herself as having a ‘style’ but has realized that somehow her work always ends up a mixture of the same recurring ingredients; a disciplined graphic style, distinct light/dark, hand-rendered type, and childish colours and themes. Having very Chinese parents, she was sent along to many after-school classes . Art class was where she received the most praise and she quickly learnt to express herself confidently with a pencil, a skill she has stuck with ever since.  But her favourite medium is definitely paint, there is something about the act of applying paint to a surface that makes all her worries disappear.
