Paperchase | Plaything Gallery

This week Auckland’s Plaything Gallery plays host to some of the USA’s most exciting underground artists. We went along to the opening to check it out and recommend you do so as well.

‘The Paper Chase is an exhibition curated by Aaron Bondaroff and Al Moran, creative directors of O.H.W.O.W Gallery in Miami. As the title suggests, the exhibition focuses on works on paper, although the underlying meaning is much more involved. The Paper Chase represents the hustle that’s at the heart of each artist involved in the exhibition. One way or another, these artists pull their energy from the do-it-yourself downtown mentality. The make it happen mind set. The never not working class hero.
