Manky Chops Gallery are very proud to present The Whimsical Work of DRYPNZ, put together by local street wonder DRYPNZ. This show was first displayed in Nelson and is now showing in Wellington. We have had DRYPNZ’s work gracing our walls on numerous occasions over the last year – in a few group shows such as Decked Out, Freshly Painted: Beyond the Canvas and Semi International, which was a fantastic show of work from low-brow and street artists from around the world that DRYPNZ organised himself. You would definitely have seen him transform scungy back alleys and oh so boring city walls into beautiful madness. Now come and experience DRYPNZ’s work which uniquely mimics the human mind.
Since 2006 DRYPNZ has been in Wellington studying on and off for his Bachelor of Design while developing and creating these odd creatures called ‘Drypppls.’ “The characters are a new breed of human, no reasoning except for the judgmental nature we all seem to carry. Express yourself where you want and when you want, or we will see the end of our culture too soon to comprehend.” For more info please visit http://www.drypnz.com
