Keep – Homer
Based and designed in L.A, manufactured in sweatshop free locations in Brazil and China, Keep shoes are the feel good sneaker. Designed initially for the ladies, these shoes quickly garnered the attention of dudes who began rocking them in larger sizes.
Keeps are made of foot friendly materials like soft canvas, cottons, wools and rubbers. They come in many different colour-ways and can be dressed up or down. This classic lo cut dons a print from San Francisco photographer Ray Potes. He is most notably involved with the S.F. publication ‘Hamburger Eyes.’ The print laden on these shoes pictures a gal tromping through the tropical jungles of Hawaii. The Homer features a cotton upper with comfortable terry cloth-lined foot bed and vulcanised rubber sole. You also get some postcards of the series the image came from and some sweet stickers.
