I hope to create work that accomplishes its illustrative purpose while coaxing viewers to take a second glance. Although I start my pieces with a simple message or portrait in mind, I find myself battling with two or three other interpretations as I continue to search for the equilibrium of thought and image. This process enthralls me. Ultimately, I want my little drawings to evoke a sense of wonderment about the world, while capturing the acidic taste of raw humanity.
